Budgeting – We prepare preliminary and schematic budgeting to ensure that the project design is within the budget available for construction.
Value Engineering – We assist the architect in fine-tuning the scope of the project to stay within budget.
Scheduling – We provide a preliminary project schedule that outlines each phase of the work and continually update the schedule as the project proceeds from preliminary design and budgeting through construction.
Barker Contracting approaches project management by assuming the overall coordination of our client’s project. We work with clients during every phase of their project, including: pre-construction and design development reviews; pre-qualification of subcontractors, suppliers and vendors; review of design, constructability and budget issues; detailed planning of construction activities and schedules; and implementation of project cost controls.
Barker Contracting believes it is critical to the success of any project to include as many qualified local subcontractors as possible in order to promote team building and have the economic impact of the project benefit the local economy. Our extensive list of qualified subcontractors has been compiled following the legal requirements outlined in A.R.S. 34.
