Warehouse and office remodel, included the build of an additional mezzanine inside the warehouse.
This project was a tenant improvement of a 100-year-old, 4-story building in downtown Tucson. Work included cutting in new window and door openings throughout the building. BCI brought the building up to modern-day standards, including the addition of an elevator and new A/C units.
This renovation of a 60-year-old building included loft-style offices, colored concrete and original wood floors. The wood floors were discovered during demolition and Barker Contracting was able to restore the wood for a beautiful finish. Original interior red brick was used for accents.
The C3 Call Center project consisted of a complete renovation of an existing 100,000 square foot industrial space into a new call center. The renovations upgrading the existing electrical service, adding a new diesel backup generator, upgrading the shell building storefront and constructing new restroom cores, training rooms, offices, breakroom cores and a new parking lot. This was a fast track project that involved good communication and coordination among all team players.
Casa de los Niños has expanded their facilities to accommodate the needs of our community. Work on this expansion included site demo and utility relocation to complete an underground parking garage and two stories of office space above, interconnecting this addition with the entire campus. Construction consisted of masonry, concrete, steel, metals studs, fiber cement panels and stucco.
Tenant improvement and conversion of open floor space to new offices, conference and training rooms; including new break rooms and restrooms. Work was performed within an occupied and operational building.

Work included furniture replacement in open office areas, remodel of common areas such as new conference rooms, huddle rooms and break rooms with decorative finishes that consist of glass store front openings, wood slat ceilings, carpet, dry erase paint, audio/visual systems and acoustical wall panels. All work was performed while the facility remained operational.
BCI was general contractor for construction of a new 40,000 SF, two-story office building. The building includes stone floors at entry and granite counters in the reception area and conference rooms, as well as a large exterior patio, covered parking and landscaped site.
Complete demo of existing building and new build of an 11,900 SF ground-up building, 923 SF interior courtyard and a new parking lot with shade structures for this non-profit organization. The building consists of individual offices, group offices and meeting rooms. The meeting rooms contain a sound masking system for privacy.

Spanning over 16 acres, work for this project included new roadways, upgrades to existing roadways; a 1,600 SF ground-up masonry badging center with an entrance canopy for standard vehicles and an inspection canopy for incoming deliveries; a ground-up, full security booth with bullet resistant glass; a ground-up masonry watch tower and a vehicle net barrier.

The Roche addition to the Ventana Medical Manufacturing and logistics facility we completed years ago, consists of a 60,360 SF instrument manufacturing facility. The new space is to be used for instrument manufacturing and testing and all related support spaces including training rooms, utility rooms, breakroom, locker room and office space. This work includes the installation of air handlers, electrical service and process utilities for the expanded area.
This 65,000 SF research & design facility was a tenant improvement in an existing 104,000 SF building. The project included a clean room, dry room, testing rooms, office area, a new site fence, upgraded entry and a large company break room.

12,000 SF ground-up facility and new storage yard for Southwest Gas Corp. The facility contains office and warehouse space. The building was constructed with concrete masonry units and steel and sits on a secured 5-acre site, which includes a water truck fill station, aggregate storage bins and pipe storage, as well as a 120’x20’ parking canopy shaded by Photo Voltaics.
Stantec is a national consulting firm for engineering, architecture, environmental, project management and other services. BCI provided renovations to the Tucson location’s fourth floor space of approximately 13,688 SF. The project included demolition work, construction of new interior partitions, ceilings, finishes and related mechanical, electrical and plumbing work.
This project was a carefully coordinated, fast-track project completed in phases so the owner could utilize available space to begin training in order to get the business operational as soon as possible. Work consisted of interior build-out of five training rooms for future employees, a control and monitoring room, new exterior metal shade canopy, handicap ramps, a new generator, UPS, transfer switch and related electrical gear upgrade.
The Texas Instruments project completely renovated two 50,000 SF call center office buildings into new office and lab space, and constructed an expandable 25,000 SF lab building, including 11,000 SF of an ISO 6 clean room. The project consisted of converting existing interior space into private offices and meeting rooms, new storefront windows, complete interior build-out and interconnecting fiber/data conduit between two existing buildings.

This project involved a 60,000 SF ground-up tilt building. Work included new type II, 30’-clear high-bay storage facility with ESFR sprinkler system with storage mezzanine, office, parts assembly, ammonia central chiller plant, and liquid combustible material storage (s-1) components. The interior work included finishes for the office area, compressed air piping and Unistrut rack assembly, as well as electrical power and lighting.
