This project consisted of a complete renovation of a 6,347 SF building to accommodate a new blood donation center and was completed on time in July of 2021. BCI’s performance on this project enabled them to be invited to bid projects on a National Level for the American Red Cross.
A 3,300 SF tenant improvement for a dermatology and aesthetics medical clinic facility with MOHS micrographic surgical procedure room, exam rooms, laboratory, and office space.
Remodel of an existing clinic included exam rooms, medical assistant work room and administration offices.
11,200 SF single-story ground-up shell building and tenant improvement for a medical office building. The space includes multiple exam and behavioral health rooms, office space, physical therapy, community and reception areas.
Approximately 9,500 SF 23-bed memory care assisted living facility with commercial kitchen. BCI facilitated and managed the land use rezoning and the coordination of new water main and public utilities to be brought to the site. In addition, a land split was done to turn ten lots into four, 1-acre lots.
8,000 SF tenant improvement for a blood transfusion medical clinic. This project incorporated an 800 SF ISO 8 cleanroom.
This series of CSL Plasma projects involve new, state-of-the-art blood plasma collection centers across the United States. Project needs vary by location, but most involve partial demolition and extensive renovations of existing structures, several while working around existing tenants. Work includes new electrical, mechanical and plumbing services, HVAC system, special and low voltage systems, structural modifications, new roofs, walk-in freezers, and extensive millwork. BCI has completed over 100 of these centers across the United States.

4,000 SF ground-up cannabis dispensary building structure with open sales floor, office space, packaging/labeling rooms, and safe vault for storage. Site work included bringing in new site utilities, storm water management system and a completely lit and secure parking lot.
84,000 SF automated greenhouse and headhouse facility with a state-of-the-art computer environmental system, optimizing climate control and air circulation. The headhouse facility with climate controlled clone room, drying room, X-Ray room and product storage rooms. Additionally, a 12,224 SF lab packaging facility with a C1D2 lab, including extraction booths, a distillation lab and a testing room was built to process product grown in the greenhouses.
A complete remodel of El Rio’s Northwest Clinic, including both main lobbies, an addition to the building and upgrades to various offices. The addition allowed the client to double the size of the break room and the remodel of both lobbies required demolition of walls to offer a more inviting, open space. All work was performed while the clinic remained fully operational so this non-profit could continue to help those within our community.
This ophthalmic outpatient surgery facility involved a 6,500 SF addition, including approximately 1,000 SF of administration area. The facility was added to the existing surgery center and needed to exactly match the architectural style. This was a Contract Manager At Risk (CMAR) project with an initial contract value of $1.6 million. The pre-construction period was important in order to monitor the contract value with the design documents.

The Roche addition to the Ventana Medical Manufacturing and logistics facility we completed years ago, consists of a 60,360 SF instrument manufacturing facility. The new space is to be used for instrument manufacturing and testing and all related support spaces including training rooms, utility rooms, breakroom, locker room and office space. This work includes the installation of air handlers, electrical service and process utilities for the expanded area.
Renovation of first and second floors of an existing clinic located at the Tucson Medical Center Campus. Work included a renovation of the main lobby, offices, patient therapy gyms, treatment rooms, outdoor therapy gym and sensory therapy rooms.
This project completely renovated the interior of a two-story building. The work was divided into four separate phases, as the facility remained open during construction. It was important to keep disruptions to a minimum by protecting the patients and employees from the elements of construction. Protective temporary walls were built, proper ventilation techniques were utilized and working hours were adjusted in order to accommodate the client.

In association with J.E. Dunn Construction, this work added upgraded surgery and patient care areas in the four-story Orthopedic and Surgical Tower, as well as a patient and visitor parking deck.
Improvements to the TMC Surgical Services included 14 operating rooms with integrated technology, pediatric surgery area, and cardiac, interventional and cystoscopy rooms. Improvements to the TMC Orthopedic Center included 10 operating rooms, with a new education conference center and meeting room, 40 private patient rooms and acute therapy facilities. This project also widened the hospital loop road, upgraded the campus entryway and constructed Founder’s Park.
This project involved exterior facelift of a 30-year-old building, with equipment upgrades and tenant improvements to a sizable medical facility. The scope of work on this structure included HVAC replacement, interior demolition and exterior façade replacement/renovation.
This Tucson affiliate of Obstetrix Medical Group offers a full range of perinatal health services. The project involved an 8,770 SF conversion of an existing hospital space to an obstetrics clinic. The project included all-new interior walls and finishes, underground plumbing and an exterior entrance/drop-off canopy with new hardscape.
This negotiated contract project constructed a new 2,600 SF clinic at the UMC North Cancer Center. Work was completed on the second floor of the most sensitive area of the functioning hospital, with immune system compromised patients adjacent to the work area.
This project involved a 60,000 SF ground-up tilt building. Work included new type II, 30’-clear high-bay storage facility with ESFR sprinkler system with storage mezzanine, office, parts assembly, ammonia central chiller plant, and liquid combustible material storage (s-1) components. The interior work included finishes for the office area, compressed air piping and Unistrut rack assembly, as well as electrical power and lighting.
20,000 SF renovation to an existing tilt panel building for a custom optics manufacturer. Work included a 2,500 SF ISO 7 cleanroom, as well as other controlled environment spaces for production and R&D of precision optics components.
The additions of a premanufactured ISO 5 Low AMC cleanroom, an ISO 7 cleanroom and remodel of 6,000 SF of manufacturing space.
