Mountain Oyster Club Kitchen Remodel
This project consisted of renovating an existing kitchen and expanding it to accommodate a growing club membership. The new kitchen was built in a nearly 100 year old building which required Barker Contracting to maintain the historic look of the kitchen and dining area, while upgrading to a state of the art kitchen. A new electrical service was added, gas service and all new equipment was installed including a self-cleaning type one hood. The kitchen was built on an old wooden sub-floor that had to be removed, new footings were excavated and poured below the existing building and new sub floor was constructed. All this work happened while keeping the kitchen operational which required the set-up of a temporary exterior kitchen that could keep up with the demand.
