KVOA Expansion

Work for KVOA was completed while the building remained operational. Care was taken during demolition and construction as not to disrupt ongoing live newscasts, which occurred several times per day. This renovation/addition included a total of 14,000 SF. The outdated news room was demolished and replaced with a state-of-the-art news room, including several reporting work stations, monitors, a police-scanning station, a new audio editing room, offices and conference rooms. In addition, the front half of the building was demolished and rebuilt, adding approximately 1,800 SF. This renovation/addition offered a new open concept lobby, Executive Suite and Executive Assistant office, as well as new accounting and sales offices.
